PBCOM opens first two Other Banking Offices (OBOs)
The Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM) has entered a new phase in its network expansion, recently opening its first two Other Banking Offices (OBOs).
PBCOM’s Other Banking Offices are equipped to offer PBCOM products, perform customer care services, and facilitate account opening. The OBOs also feature ATMs that are available 24/7.
Growing its distribution network is one of the key elements of PBCOM’s strategy. “By expanding our national footprint, we hope to bring PBCOM closer to clients, so that we can better serve their financial needs,” shared President & CEO Nina D. Aguas. Since 2013, PBCOM has opened eight new branches, growing from 64 to 72 branches in less than 12 months. “The addition of OBOs to our network will allow us to extend our reach and serve a wider customer base quickly,” Aguas added. PBCOM plans to open a total of ten OBOs by the end of 2014.
PBCOM’s new OBOs are located at Beacon Plaza, Shaw Boulevard corner Ideal Street, Mandaluyong City, and at the Ground Floor, Loyola Plans Building, 849 A. Arnaiz Avenue (formerly Pasay Road), Makati City. Both locations are open to serve clients from Monday to Friday, 10:00am –7:00 pm.
