PBCom commemorated its 64th anniversary last September 4, 2003 with a holy mass that was held at the Makati Banking Center rotunda located at the ground floor level of the PBCom Tower.
The Bank’s board of directors, senior management, officers and staff in the head office as well as in the branches actively observed the occasion with a simple thanksgiving to the Divine Providence for 64 years of continued guidance and progress.
One of the occasion’s highlights was the awarding of the 2003 Service Award to employees who have stayed with the Bank for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years. Among those who graced the event were Chairman Chung Tiong Tay, Vice Chairman Ralph Nubla, Jr., Pres. & CEO ICAlcantara, Excom-Vice Chairmen Henry Y. Uy & Carlos Chung Bunsit, Directors Ernesto T. Luy, Peter C. Lim, and Johnny O. Cobankiat.
Also, as part of the anniversary celebration, all employees were treated to a delightful merienda.
