Preparations are currently underway for the Bank's venture into the remittance
business. A unique and innovative remittance service is expected to come out
of this undertaking, and its roll-out is scheduled around the second quarter of
PBCom, in partnership with a Singaporean remittance and technology company,
will provide the solution to many of the problems of OFWs on their remittances.
OFWs will gain greater control over how and when their money is spent, enjoy
speedy and reliable service at low cost, and achieve transparency on the status
of their remittances.
