PBCOM-STANDARD CHARTERED CREDIT CARD GETS WIDER COVERAGE

PBCom’s credit partner, Standard Chartered Bank, announced recently the inclusion of six new areas in the service coverage of the PBCom-SCB credit card. These include the provinces of Angeles, La Union, Dagupan, Lucena, Iloilo and Cabanatuan.

This brings a total 56 PBCom branches that are now qualified to accept credit card applications. These, plus the rest of the 64 branches nationwide, are authorized to accept over-the-counter card payments as well.

The PBCom-Standard Chartered credit card is the first international credit card in the Philippines to be co-branded by two banking institutions with Mastercard. The issuance of the card serves to strengthen PBCom's position in the retail and consumer market.

Bank clients and even non-PBCom depositors may apply for a credit card through the Bank's branch network. Annual fee for the first year is waived, same for PBCom employees who enjoy free annual fee while being employed with the Bank.
