| BAIPHIL ELECTS PBCOM EXECUTIVE AS ITS PRESIDENT |

Evelyn D. Vinluan, PBCom’s First Vice President and Risk Management Group Head, was recently elected president by the Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL) for fiscal year 2004-2005. Ms. Vinluan was inducted into office on July 21, 2004 at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangrila Manila Hotel, Makati City.
This is considered a milestone event for PBCom since this is the first time that an officer of the Bank has been elected to the BAIPHIL presidency.

As a 63-year old professional organization of bankers, BAIPHIL counts among its honorary, sustaining and associate members a number of former bank presidents and senior bank officers. To date, BAIPHIL has 63 institutional member banks and around 250 associate members. Through its twelve standing committees, it is able to carry out its mission of providing support to banks towards productivity enhancement through research, information exchange and education. |
