PBCom?s 2002 Annual Report has been chosen by the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) as one of the ten best annual reports for 2002.
Twenty-nine listed firms participated in the contest with several multinational companies such as, Ayala Corp., ABS-CBN, Globe Telecom, Jollibee, Petron, San Miguel and several big banks like BPI, Banco de Oro, Chinabank, Metrobank, PNB and Unionbank, included in the list.
MAP?s ?Best Annual Reports? awards, given for the first time this year, aim to encourage the publication of accurate, informative, well-presented and timely annual reports for the benefit of shareholders, employees, and others who may have an interest in the business performance and activities of a company/organization. It also encourages companies/organizations to showcase their strength by reporting a comprehensive and detailed information about their activities in a user-friendly manner with the effective use of charts, photos and other visuals.
The awarding ceremonies were held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on May 14, 2004.
