EVP and Officer-In-Charge Angel M. Corpus called on everybody’s cooperation and
active participation for a Planning Conference, held last Dec. 10, 2004 at the 10th
floor Training Room of the PBCom Tower.
Mr. Corpus invoked four additional corporate values which should be taken into heart by
all PBComers -- 1) sense of urgency; 2) bias for action; 3) service excellence; and
4) professionalism.
All Segments and Groups presented their respective 2004 accomplishments and 2005 business
plans and budgets. All the Division Heads likewise attended the conference.
Also in attendance were Executive Directors Henry Uy, Ernesto Luy, and Carlos Bunsit Chung,
Directors Renato Peronilla, Ruben Almendras, Jose Luis Javier and Consultant Roman
Anthony Azanza.
During the Closing Remarks, Mr. Corpus urged everybody to work as a team. He ended the
conference with a quotation from Henry Ford: “Coming together is a beginning; keeping
together is progress; working together is success.”
It had been a long day but the PBCom Planning Conference for 2005 proved to be a fruitful
exercise as it gave everyone the opportunity to set their goals and objectives for the
coming year.
