First Vice President John Estioko, PBCom’s
Internal Auditor was reelected to the 15-member Board of Trustees for 2006 of
the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Manila Chapter.
ISACA, which started in 1967, now has more than
47,000 members worldwide. The ISACA-Manila is one of more than 170 chapters
established in over 60 countries. ISACA defines the IS auditing and control
standards followed by international practitioners and administers the globally
recognized Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and the Certified
Information Security Manager (CISM) certification programs, among others.
John is one of just 140 Filipino CISAs and one
of the few CISAs still practicing in the country. As Board of Trustees Member,
he is expected to continue to productively contribute to the ISACA programs
that promote professionalism in information systems governance, control,
security and audit.
