My Dear PBCOM Family,
 
Today, as we celebrate Earth Day, we officially launch our PBCOM goes GREEN campaign. This is a long-term initiative of our Bank to be more environmentally conscious in our operations. We, your Senior Management Team, would like to build an office culture that promotes environmental sustainability. Through this initiative, we specifically aim to educate employees on the environmental impact of our day-to-day activities, and in the end, reduce the amount of plastic garbage produced by PBCOM employees, reduce the amount of paper being consumed by the organization, and, actively advocate initiatives and projects to go green and cost-save.

We have planned year-long activities and programs for you in relation to our green campaign. First in the list of our programs is the “AYOKO NG PLASTIC” campaign. An initiative to control  the volume of single-use plastic within our premises. As a clear guideline, we will discourage the use of the following:
 - Plastic spoon and fork
 - Disposable cups
 - Single-use plastic bag
 - Plastic straw 
 
Through this simple initiative, we believe that this will go a long way in helping care for our environment.
