Davao, Philippines – [September 24, 2025] — Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM) hosted its annual Client Appreciation Dinner in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival, continuing a long-standing tradition of celebrating its valued clients. This year’s gathering also marked a significant milestone for the Bank as it commemorates its 86th year with the theme “Driving Results,” its fifth Mid-Autumn event in Davao since the celebration was first launched in 2016.
The evening was made more special with the presence of members of the Co family —Lucio Co, PBCOM Executive Committee Chairman, Susan Co, PBCOM Board of Director and Kat Co-Go, PBCOM Assistant to the Executive Chairman. Guests were welcomed at the Acacia Davao Hotel and enjoyed a festive banquet prepared by the Luk Foo Chef. Both establishments are part of the Lucio Co Group Of Companies, together with PBCOM and S&R Membership Shopping, where the dice game prizes were sourced.
The gathering served not only as an occasion of gratitude but also as a reaffirmation of PBCOM’s commitment to strengthening its relationships with clients. Addressing the attendees, President and CEO Patricia May Siy, highlighted the institution’s achievements as it celebrates its 86th year. These included being recognized for the second time in the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion list, delivering excellent performance in 2024, and declaring a special cash dividend for the first time in 27 years.
“These milestones were made possible because of the continued trust and support of our clients. Tonight is our way of thanking you for being part of PBCOM’s journey,” said May Siy.
Looking ahead, PBCOM shared its plans for expansion, including growing its branch network with a stronger presence in Mindanao. Commercial and Corporate Lending Head, Vic Martinez, Branch Banking Group Head of Sales for Metro Luzon, Sherwin Ng, Mindanao Business Head, Aaron Luy, and Region Head of Mindanao, Art Gonzales, joined the celebration to represent this next phase of growth.
